The Country Corals specializes on supplying hard corals, soft corals, clams, invertebrates, fish as well as hard and soft coral fragments to professional collectors, hobbyists or mere enthusiasts.

Country Corals is owned, ran and managed by Chris Tracey. With over ten years of experience in coral propagation, maintenance and distribution, Tracey ensures that all marine livestock of Country Corals meet high quality standards and client expectations.

Available hard corals at Country Corals include colonies and fragments of small polyp stony (SPS) corals for marine aquariums. Such SPS colonies include 4-5 inch montipora brown with green polyps, 4-5 inch purple montipora, 4-5 inch yellow cup coral and 4-5 inch Bali cultured acropora. On the other hand, SPS offered fragments at Country Corals include various species of acropora or what is commonly referred to as “staghorn corals.” These fragments are 1.5-2.5 inches long and are usually mounted on the rubber cap on floral tubes.

Country Corals also has a wide selection of large polyp stony (LPS) corals. Among its collection are red brain teeth corals measuring 2-3 inches and the 5 to 6-inch pearl corals. Country Corals also have 5-headed pink Hammer corals that measures 4-5 inches. Quite unique, the Hammer corals have hammer-like shape of its tentacle tips which glow with a fluorescent yellow or green in some species. Brain corals on the other hand are known as crater corals or open brain due to the ridges that create the coral's scalloped rim.

Also propagated are leather corals like the Tonga yellow toadstool leather coral, finger leather coral, Kenya tree fragments, hairy leather fragments, brown toadstool leather corals and devil’s hands coral. These soft leather corals are usually sturdy and easily cared for, like the Tonga leather coral, and are good additions to any aquarium.

Other soft corals available include species of zoanthids. These small colonial sea anemones come in various colors, from the mundane ones to more stunning species. Among the various zoanthids Country Corals has to offer are orange green polyps, 3-4 inch star polyps, green star polyps, orange-red polyps, 5-6 inch green organ pipe coral and Tubinaria cup coral.

Country Corals also sells Deresa Clams. Deresa clams are relatives of the Giant Clams. They are also referred to as Southern Giant Clam or Smooth Giant Clam. They have smooth thick shells and 6-7 vertical folds. If cared for under proper conditions, the 4-5 inches Deresa Clams at Country Corals can easily double or triple in size in less than a year. These clams can reach a maximum size of 20 inches. These are popular aquarium pieces since its mantle has a mixture of orange, yellow, blue, and black and white tint. They also have showy patterns that usually come in outlines of wavy stripes or patterned spots. These patterns more often than not are in brilliant blues and greens.

Also for sale are turbo snails. These snails are one of the best herbivores to include in a reef tank for they are easy to care for and help remove algae from the glass. They get to grow fairly large though, up to three inches.

Ceareanthus tube worm, coco worm or hard tube duster, pencil urchins, green serpent star, pincushion urchins, long spine urchins and coral banded shrimps are also offered to aquarists by Country Corals. The coral banded shrimp with its colorful red or purple bands and large claws is also popular among hobbyists. They are good to have in tanks for they scavenge the reef at night in search of scraps of food and will also clean parasites from aquarium fish.

Country Corals takes every precautionary measure possible in shipping orders. They pack orders in corrugated styrofoam lined box, double or triple bagged with oxygen and if needed are packed with heat or ice packs. They ship orders overnight to ensure that the aquarium animals arrive alive. They do guarantee that all orders arrive alive and healthy. If customers receive dead or unhealthy orders, Country Corals will replace the orders or offer store credit to the clients. Country Corals, however, only ship orders within the continental United States.
